I was born and bred in London and have dual Franco-British nationality, but above all, I have always moved in a bilingual and multicultural environment and have a real passion for linguistics. I first went to a local primary school then to the French Lycée in London. I continued my training in France where I read law at the University of Strasbourg (maitrise droit privé). A few years later I furthered my training in translation at the University of London in Paris (British Institute Certificate in French and English Translation). As French and English are BOTH my mother tongues, I translate as easily from French into English as from English into French.

After 20 years in a major banking group including 10 in the Communications’ Department, I have acquired a solid expertise in translation in the fields of finance, communications and corporate journalism (annual reports, in-house magazines, Internet/Intranet sites, PowerPoint presentations, commercial brochures and newsletters). I am well aware that speed and confidentiality are key factors in professional translations. My translations are delivered in the same format as the source texts and, to ensure the very best quality, are cross-checked by a fellow qualified translator.
